Ater leaving my bag with a hotel, on arriving at home some of the contents were missing?

I distinctly remember putting a certain plastic bag inside the main bag and this plastic bag was no longer inside when I arrived at home. That plastic bag contained my dirty laundry! Is this the most delusional thing you have ever heard?
