I am a black guy who wants to date this indian girl. but is there hope that i can get her?

i am a biracial black guy who knows this indian girl from my college class. she was a very shy girl but as she gotten so use to me she talks to me alot now. but the one thing she does not know is that i really like her but dont know how to ask her out. what makes me worry is that many people tells me 100% of indian girls dont like to date black guys all over the world. is this true?
