How do u reduce movement lag on BattleStar Galactica online?

I have a major problem with the movement lag on BattleStar Galactica online. I am usually very good at 3d flying shooter games,but the lag is really kiling me and it reallys p***s me off. Can someone help me?(Stats idk if they are needed to be known:Windows 7, Running on Google Chrome web browser, all drivers up to date, tried both wired and wireless internet, tried different servers) Please help me remove the lag that keeps killing me!
