I need help as soon as posible with my computer?

i was on skype and someone sent me something through skype i had opened it and i guess i got a virus. whenever i go to try to open google chrome or anything really it asks like it is opening windows photo viewer is there anyway i can fix this or get rid of it im not the smart computer guy so i need a lot of help. also some icons on my screen have the windows photo viewer icon instead of frostwire and google chrome. i am able to get onto the internet by going to my computer and puting in google.com but also my virus pretection isnt working so i cant use it. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Please
