My search links dont work on my computer?

I was using my laptop and suddenly my mozilla firefox and my google chrome stopped working completely and they wont download again, and i am left with internet explorer. At the same time the internet browsers stopped working, I soon realized that when I click links on all of the search engines (bing, google, ask, etc.) it redirects me to the same couple of websites for every link, i even read the url, and its completely different than the website it redirects me to. Some of the websites are becoolsearch.net, shopica.com, the pheonix university website etc. Help anyone?
